The Computer Association of Nepal-USA (www.can-usa.org) is organizing a Professional Networking Dinner for individuals from all backgrounds on Friday April 24^th with some speakers.  Following the dinner a LIVE videoconference with Nepal will take place.  The video conference is a continuation of CAN-USA’s Transfer of Knowledge Initiative to Nepal on the topic of “An Introduction to Cloud Computing”.  On Friday April 10^th, the Computer Association of Nepal (in Nepal) is planning a formal inauguration of this initiative in Kathmandu. CAN-USA will participate via a live videoconference.  Agencies critical to Nepal’s development: USAID, US Embassy, GTZ, ICIMOD, UNICEF as well as key government of Nepal officials involved in technology will attend.  CAN-USA will hold a press conference with the Kathmandu Press corps during this meeting (April 10^th).
